As you can see, we are animal lovers and have four wonderful furry creatures in our lives. All of our animals are good with kids and are great fun for us.
- Maya (a.k.a. Maya Papaya) is an 11-year-old golden retriever that Shari got as a puppy in graduate school. There is no sweeter soul than Maya!
- Lulu is deeply attached to Lisa. She's also a professional napper and can make any box a home!
- Amber was a stray dog we found on an island in Belize. She was very skinny and sickly -- and so sweet -- that we just couldn't leave her there! Her recovery and happiness brings joy to our hearts.
- Angus is the newest addition to our family. We got him from a rescue group earlier this year. He's gentle, affectionate, and playful, not to mention a great snuggler.
We know our child will enjoy the unconditional love from our pets that we both experienced with family pets growing up.
