We are Lisa Surman and Shari Oren and we live in Oakland, California in the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area. Thank you for visiting our site! We're so excited to begin this journey of open adoption and we look forward to the day that we bring a precious child into our family. We are pursuing open adoption because we believe everyone involved will benefit greatly from the openness and honesty that's part of the process. We want our child to know that you as the birthmother chose this option from a place of love and courage. We also want our child to know you!
